Pootler's Design Team Challenge - Good Friend Silver Embossed Card


So a very warm welcome again today to my blog for Week 2 of the Design Team Challenge.  I decided to use the Timeless Textures Stamp Set and an old favourite of mine the Flower Shop Stamp Set.  I am using the Friendly Wishes Stamp Set that was provided by my up line Demonstrator, Sam Hammond as part of this challenge.

Bermuda Bay is one of my most favourite colours so I combined it with Soft Sky.  I added a bit of silver heat embossing too as that open work lattice stamp looks so beautiful heat embossed.


My card measures 5 3/4 x 5 3/4" (14.5 x 14.5 cm) and is layered with Bermuda Bay and Very Vanilla.  Maybe it would have been better to use the Whisper White card with the Bermuda Bay, what do you think?   I still love my card though but maybe next time will use the white.  I heat embossed the middle layer of my flower with silver as well and punched it out using the petite petals punch.  The enamel dots in the two corners go with the colour scheme perfectly.  So quite soft muted tones to my card but it looks really gorgeous in real life!!

I never like to forget the inside of my card, as I feel that is just as important, don't you?
